The healthcare industry in Indonesia is undergoing rapid digital transformation. One of the new players ready to change this landscape is Vit, a HealthTech startup that focuses on the integration of digital medical records and a technology-based healthcare ecosystem. With an innovative approach, Vit is determined to present a more personalized, efficient, and patient-oriented solution.
According to Andri Kurniawan, CEO of Vit, one of the biggest challenges in healthcare is access to fragmented medical records. “Patients often have to repeat their medical stories every time they change health facilities. This not only hinders efficiency, but also risks the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment,” said Andri.
To overcome this problem, Vit presents VitCare, a Personal Health Record (PHR) platform that allows patients to manage and access their medical records independently, anytime and anywhere. Not only that, the VitCare+ feature allows recording of family health history for up to five generations, providing deeper insight into the potential for hereditary diseases.
In addition to solutions for patients, Vit also offers VitMed for doctors, as well as VitClinic for clinics and healthcare facilities. Both platforms are designed to optimize medical practices with faster recording systems, administrative automation, and seamless patient data integration. "With Vit, doctors can make clinical decisions faster and more accurately because patient data is well synchronized," said dr. Zwasta P. Mahardhika, M.Med.Ed., Sp.KKLP, Chief Medical Officer of Vit.
Not only that, Vit also developed VitConnect, an interoperability technology that enables the exchange of medical data between various healthcare systems through global standards such as FHIR and HL7. This opens up opportunities for wider integration with hospitals, laboratories, and health insurance providers.
“Our vision is to create a more connected and efficient healthcare service, where patients have full control over their data, while doctors and healthcare facilities can provide better quality care,” Andri added.
With a combination of advanced technology and a patient-centric approach, Vit aspires to be the main solution for a more modern and integrated healthcare system in Indonesia. Currently, Vit is preparing to expand and collaborate with various stakeholders in the industry, including hospitals, clinics, and the government, to provide more inclusive and beneficial digital healthcare services for the wider community.
