Vit Offers Digitalization of Village Clinics and Pharmacies, Ready to Synergize with KDMP

In supporting the major mission of equalizing health services in villages, health technology startup Vit has expressed its readiness to partner with Red and White Village Cooperative (KDMP) in the development of digital-based Village Pharmacies and Clinics. Through inclusive and adaptive technology solutions to village conditions, Vit presents a new approach to health services that are not only efficient, but also relevant to the needs of local communities.

"Transforming village health is not enough with just buildings and medicines. We need a system that is efficient, easy to use, and can reach all levels of village society," said Andri Kurniawan, CEO of Vit.

Efficiency Through Pay-as-You-Go and Semi-Offline Systems

One of Vit's main advantages is the payment model. Pay As You Go (PAYG)—where healthcare facilities only pay when a patient comes in. This scheme is best suited to small clinics and cooperatives that do not yet have a consistently high patient volume.

Not only that, the Vit system has also been designed semi-offline, allowing operations to continue even if the internet network is unstable. Data will be stored locally and automatically synchronized when a connection is available.

Bridging BPJS and SATUSEHAT Integration

Vit has supported bridging BPJS Health and integrated with the platform SATUSEHAT owned by the Ministry of Health. This makes it easier for village clinics to comply with national regulations and speed up the claims and reporting process.

"This is the answer for many primary health facilities that have had difficulty following the national digital system due to limited access and human resource capacity," said Apri Pardede, CTO Vit.

Separate Services: Telemedicine and Health Companion

Vit also provides two important services to bridge geographical and digital barriers in villages:

  1. Telemedicine Services: Provide remote medical consultation access that can be accessed by villagers from the app or through the clinic. This allows for faster and more efficient referrals.
  2. Health Companion: For residents who are not yet digitally literate, Vit provides a health companion feature—local officers or cadres who assist with the registration process, consultations, and health education using the Vit platform.

Flexible and Modular: Grow as Needed

Vit is built with a modular structure, meaning clinics or pharmacies can choose modules that suit their scale and stage of growth, from patient management, medical records, pharmacy, laboratory, to finance.

Furthermore, Vit also provides a white-label feature—which allows KDMP or regional cooperatives to have their own branding on the platform, without having to build a system from scratch.

"With the white-label scheme, cooperatives can have their own digital identity, but still use the proven Vit system," said Dr. Zwasta P. Mahardhika, M.Med.Ed., Sp.KKLP, CMO Vit.

Ready to be a Strategic Partner of KDMP

Through a technology approach tailored to the village context, Vit invited KDMP to explore strategic partnerships that strengthen each other. Vit also expressed openness to pilot projects at several points and was ready to provide long-term assistance.

With a combination of operational efficiency, national system integration, and a humane approach through mentoring and education, Vit sees great potential to create an independent, modern, and impactful village health ecosystem.
